Easter: breads and hot cross buns, eggs and bunnies. Excuse me for my ignorance
but what??? Where did the bunnies come from?
O.k. so some antiquated history of Germany and bunnies brought back by the
Pennsylvania Dutch blah blah blah but bottom line....Kids love the egg hunts
and chocolate bunnies! Fasting, purification and April showers......Naahhhhh
Sweet
Easter Eggs
1 Cup butter
1
- 14oz can sweetend condensed milk
3 lbs confectionary sugar
pinch of salt
Splash of vanilla
Mix butter, salt and vanilla til light approximately 5 minutes. Add sugar
until a stiff dough....................................
Color
a 1/4 of the dough yellow
(yolk section of egg)
Form white dough into egg shape and gently put yolk in middle and cover with melted chocolate..........................................
